CAL-PRO: are membrane expansion tanks for centralized closed circuits suited to absorb the increased water volume when the temperature in the heating system increases. It has an SBR membrane and produced according to PED norm 2014/68/EU for centralized non potable water heating systems.

Vaso aggraffato o saldato in acciaio al carbonio. Membrana in gomma sintetica SBR avente caratteristiche fisiche e meccaniche secondo le norme DIN 4807-3 adeguate ad ogni capacità del vaso, in modo da ottenere la massima capacità utile. I vasi sono verniciati esternamente con polvere epossi-poliestere a lunga durata e sono testati in fabbrica al 100%.

Crimped or welded carbon steel shells, synthetic SBR rubber according to DIN 4807-3 norms are suitable to every capacity for maximizing tank drawdown. Vessels are painted externally with long-lasting epoxy-polye-ster powder coating and are 100% factory-tested.
In a closed heating system water cannot be com-pressed and any increase in water volume due to the increase of its temperature is absorbed by the expansion vessel. When water is cold, the precharge pressure of the tank presses the diaphragm against the tank. As temperature increases, the expanded water volume pushes against the membrane and water enters the tank, providing additional space to the system. With the temperature decrease, the air cushion forces water back into the system. This allows to contain the increase of the pressure in the system.
